So my brother jailbroke his ipod a while ago, download lots of stuff and everything was fine. Then one day the circlular button at the bottom stopped working. Some ppl said it was because he JB it. so I went into itunes and tried to restore it. Everytime I restore the ipod I get the picture of the ipod cord and the arrow to the itunes symbol.

how can I get it working again?

Did you let the iPod do its thing after you hit Restore?

Try holding the Sleep/Wake (Top) and Home (Front) buttons until the Apple logo appears. Release the Sleep/Wake button, but continue to hold the Home button. You will be prompted to restore in iTunes. Make sure the iPod is plugged in when you do this.

    Also try restarting your computer.

Just shut off the ipod and then hold the home button and plug it in and keep holding until the cord shows up and then it will boot into restore mode. If that does not fix the home button then i would suggest restoring the ipod again and then getting it looked at.
