ipod+water=confused

    hey guys a couple of days aga i was fishin with my friend casey at this lake by our house. everything was fine till

    i went to help him and i fell in the water....

    now once i climbed out i realized that my ipod touch was in my pocket

    it screw up now in the last couple of days it has been doin crazy things

    1-the battery meter is filled up complete.
    2-whenever i go to like safari or my music it always goes back to the home page
    3-sometimes it just wont turn on
    4-the volume bar turns different colors depending on wat type of song i listen to ( which is kinda kool)

    admit it, you dropped it in the toilet

    also bring it back to apple, otherwise you're screwed

    don't leave it jailbroken either if it is jailbroken

    What? Those sound like some odd problems.

    Had you posted before turning it on, we would have advised you to turn your iPod off and place it in a bowl of dry rice for a few days, to suck the moisture out. You might want to try that anyway. Apple won't touch it due to water damage, unfortunately.

    Yeah, hopefully you can dry rice it...but i'm not sure it will fix your problems...

    haven't you played Pokemon! water and electricity don't get along!

    ive read on here that if you take a q-tip with alcohol on it then stick it in the ear jack that it will make some chip tell apple that it doesnt have water damage and they will give you a refurbished one for freeeeeeeeeeee. But im not sure if its true

    Does the dry rice thing really work?
