I just got my wall charger today and once plugged into the wall socket it hd a weird sound. But I plugged my ipod in to try it and it stopped with the sound. After about 3 minutes it got warm at the lower back of the ipod...Is this normal? I heard that Touches overheat when charged by a wall charger.

Would like to know if I should stop using it or not.

    Thanks

if you plugged it in and it had a weird sound i would strongly suggest to stop using it or you may fry your battery.maybe try and get an exchange and see if the other 1 is the same

It only makes the sound when nothing is plugged in with it. As soon as ipod is plugged in, the sound is gone and its just a bit warm.
