My friend gave me their broken 30gig Video today so I could fool around with it and see if I could fix it, and I can't. I've taken it apart numerous times and can't see anything wrong with the inside, so I'm not sure if maybe the battery's shot?

Here's what it does: Nothing. Won't turn on, computer doesn't recognize it at all even to charge it. :/

My friend said that she lost it, and it was turned off and working, and then found it a couple months later and it just didn't work.

Has anyone had this problem before? If so can you help me?
