I had a pre encoded movie in my itunes for my previous ipod video. I left it checked to add to ipod touch when it synced, it wont show up! Do I need to re-encode a diffrent way or am I doing something wrong?

I think video's have to be encoded in H.264 with AAC audio low-complexity.

Just use iTunes iPod encoder. Right click on a file in iTunes and select Convert Selection for iPod. This has worked well for me so-far, albeit for a little audio de-sync.

That happened to me untill I did this: Click "manually manage songs" -> SYNC -> Uncheck "manually manage songs" -> SYNC -> Should work (at least it did for me)
