Ipod user locked with passcode

    I have Model no : A1213 16 GB ipod I forgot my pass code and it says "iPod is disabled. because I put many wrong number so when I open ipod on that screen showing try again in 4728256 s from computer giving error " ITunes Could not connect to the ipod usr because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter your passcode on the ipod before it can be used with iTunes". please please if you can help me to open my ipod player and I already update ITunes 8.2 but the same problem

    the only way to unlock it is to restore it now.

    Whahahaha: i laughed so hard; return it to it's owner XD
    but try to put it in dfu mode: hold THE homepage and powerbutton for 10 sec on THE lockscreen... Than restore it in iTunes!

    Not the only way... if you know how... you can remove the keychain-2.db from /private/var/Keychains on the device and restart it. The passcode will be disabled and any remembered passwords will be deleted as well.

    Putting the iPod into DFU mode is your best bet.

    holy crap the same exact thing happened to my sisters ipod!!!! it said ipod dissable, try again in ..........i remember it being a huge number. thats really weird!!!!
