I was getting REAL tired of the iPod not working or crashing every time I did ipodtouchmaster's method of JB 1.1.3. I've had been restoring/JB'ing it almost 3 times a month so I got annoyed and decided to go to 1.1.4 JB. While in the process of upgrading and JB with ipodtocuhmaster's method again for the 1.1.4 installer stopped working. So, again I got annoyed and tried to downgrade it back to 1.1.1.... here is when it all went wrong. I have a feeling it didn't restore completely and stopped in the middle so I couldn't get my iPod out of recovery mode. It seemed like the iTunes icon was my wallpaper and all i can see was the battery charging icon at the top left. Finally I got it back together from a lot of research and decided to stick to 1.1.3 after all... Everything worked fine until I got to 1.1.2 JB where installer gets that main script error. I tried everything to fix installer and nothing seems to work.... Still get the same error and for some reason on the hom page of installer I get a "?" as the picture instead of the Installer icon. I can't get past 1.1.2 JB.

Long story short... HELP...I F*^$@! UP!!!!!

Just go ahead and restore to 1.1.4 and use ZiPhone to jailbreak it.

Using a version of Ziphone depends on your Ipod Model.

Just freshly restore to 1.1.4, get ZiPhone 2.6b (newest version) and hit the "iPod Touch" button next to "Jailbreak".

    Worked perfectly for me.

iPod model... what do you mean by that. You mean size cause I have the 16 GB one.

ZiPhone v2.6b works for all iPod models, so don't worry about it.
