iPod touch's stopwatch goes for months, maybe years

    Actually, the Stopwatch stops at 1000 Hours.

    Actually, it shifts the text to the right once it gets to 4 digits, cutting off the seconds. But it still goes on.

    hey did anybody of you guys actually stat your stopwatches, i started mine after i watched the video so lets see for how long it goes on

    It will take 41.67 days after you start it to reach 1,000, 416. 67 days to reach 10,000, 4166.67 days to reach 100,000, and 41666.67 days to reach 1 million.

    So it will take around 114 years to reach 1 million, better get started now.

    What if you count down a second, beginning at Zero? It used to be you could spin an odometer backwards below 0 miles and it would display whatever the maximum capacity of the counter mechanism was. Usually 9,999,999 or 999,999 miles. Very few cars if any every made it to 1 million miles, much less 10 million.

    couldn't you start the stopwatch, then change the date on the ipod so it thinks it has gone for 117 years?
    edit: it won't let you set the date past 2038. I hope mine lasts that long.
