Ok so i left my ipod touch charging on a wall charger for the night and when i wake up in the morning it was off. I turn it on and the apple logo starts for about 10-20 seconds and then turns off again. I tried rebooting/restarting and nothing worked. Any help please? Yes it is jailbroken and i have ssh on it so could i fix anything without having to go to dfu mode?

The last thing i did was install an app from the ipod, but it didnt install... the app was in the waiting part for like 2 days

Does the screen flash white before turning off? Does it really turn off, or does it reboot again in a loop?

Have you tried plugging it into your computer to charge it? Maybe your outlet isn't working.

It seems like you hvae the same problem as me. Since 2 days my ipod won't turn on anymore, it only shows me the apple logo for 10s and then turns off.
If my ipod isn't connected to my pc it even doesn't show the apple logo anymore.

Just for giggles, try re-applying the jailbreak before you restore. otherwise it sounds like you have no other choice.

you don't have to go into dfu to do that. just go into recovery mode.

    1. Make sure its off and unplugged
    2. Hold home button
    3. Plug in
    4. Hold home button until "connect to itunes" screen appears
