iPod Touch won't turn on after charging

    Hi guys,

I hope someone has an answer for this...I have an ipod touch, and if the battery drains completely, and I recharge it, the only way I can turn it back on is by holding BOTH the home and power buttons for 30 seconds. Is this normal? I would think I would just have to hit the power button.

Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

If your battery is drained, then you're outta battery. How the hell do you turn on any electrical devices without battery????

OK, I deserved that...I forgot to mention the fact that I do plug it back in to charge, I leave it charge overnight, but it won't come on after charging without holding BOTH buttons in for at least 30 seconds....I would think that to turn it back on after charging I would just press the power button and it should power back on in a few seconds. To me, having to hold BOTH buttons in for 30 seconds is quite an inconvenience, which is why I was asking if that is normal.
