iPod touch wont restore

    please help i have a ipod touch 2g with 3.1.2 firmware, and one day i pluged it in to charge and i came back and it was on the connect to itunes screen. so i tryed to run blackra1n again but it stayed on the picture of the guy. i tryed it a bunch of times. so then i tryed to restore it. it gets to the loading bar and then flashes a white screen and reboots. i get Error Code 9, 1611, or 1604. please help

    DFU, that always works.

    Then use Spirit.

    tried Dfu too.. and tried spirit. neither of them worked. it says "Connect A Device" even though my ipods plugged in.

    DFU always works. Otherwise your doing it wrong or its a hardware problem. (highly doubt that)

    im sure i did it right. i held down the Home + Power button until it disconected then i let go of the Home Button until it connects again. and the screen is black.. and i doubt its a hardware problem to

    lol what exactly am i suppose to do.. because when i do it a bubble pops up on the bottom right of my computer saying: "Apple Mobile Device (DFU)" or something like that

    Alright well i think im just gonna take it to apple because ive done just about every thing.. but i think its still jailbroken because it didnt even restore all the way.

    1 hold both buttons while powered on

    2 when it turns or leave off

    3 plug it in

    4 hold both buttons till it turns off

    5 let go of the power button but continue to hold home button

    6 if the screen is black you did it right

    and yes you ipod is still jailbroken if you didnt restore.

    ok. i got it in dfu. it still wont restore.. so now what? i cant restore it, and i cant bring it to apple...
