    iPod Touch won't restore (Solved)

I had openiboot installed on my first gen ipod touch and it was working fine....until this morning. For whatever reason, whenever i tried to boot into the iphone os, my ipod would shut off midway. And when trying to boot into android, it'd keep freezing. So i tried to restore (DFU and recovery). Regardless of which method i use to restore, itunes is stuck here :

and my ipod just sits there at the exact same spot. I tried leaving it there for over an hour and I also tried to uninstall openiboot and restore again but i get the same issue.

Any ideas? Or is my ipod dead? Also, I don't get any error messages (16xx). It just sits at Restoring iPod Software.

I don't think so...I might have though. Actually the last thing I did in iphone os was uninstall OpenSSH.

Ok so apparently the windows client for Wi-Fi Sync breaks restoring/upgrading with itunes.

I'm not sure if that's what you meant but thanks
