My ipod touch wont recharge when i connect it to my computer (with USB). The ipod does not do anything at all, like if nothing happened, and on my computer it says "USB Device Not Recognized".

I've tried everything, plugging the ipod in the USB while im already in iTunes on my computer and doing the same without being in iTunes. Ive tried connecting the USB while the ipod is off/on. And i have tried almost all the different USB ports on my computer...
Seems nothing works, it just wont start recharging.
I have had this problem a while, but the first few times i was able to get it to recharge by unplugging and replugging the USB lotsa times, but it seems to just get worse >.>

    All help is highly appreciated.

You probably need to reinstall the driver.

This thread may help. Ignore the title, it involves reinstalling the driver, so it should help you out.

If not, post back and maybe another has an idea.

I got it to work now, i found out that it works the best when I restart my ipod (turn it completely off and then on again, takes time) and restart my computer. Then, before doing anything else, i plug in my iPod, and it works! =D

*Thanx for your reply anyway ;D
