Okay, i'm having trouble getting my ipod touch to work. I was able to jailbreak my ipod once. I tried to jailbreak it again after i formatted( used the option to remove music and all that stuff in ipod setting), but when i ran it, It does not enter recovery mode. I tried several times, putting it in dfu mode, but blackrain doesnt say "entering recovery". Here is a video of what appears when i run it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pbvf7uSTX5Y. I tried restoring, but i either get error code 1603 or 1604 when preparing the restore.here is the video of me trying to restore it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v14XF6bOv00 The itunes version i'm using is itunes 9.0.0.7 and currently on windows 7 x86 So i'm asking if anyone has a solution to this problem i'm having with my ipod. Any help is appreciated.

If you have restored, I assume you're now on 3.1.3. this will mean that you cannot Jailbreak the iPod untill one of the new tools is released.

I'm not sure why you cam't restore though and I don't have time to watch the vid. Try googling the error code and you should find something.

Wait, so did you get rid of the music via the jailbreak or by an option on the iPod. If you used the jailbreak way then I'm sure they will check and refuse to fix it. F it's a normal option then I'm sure they will fix it

Okay, i was able to fix my ipod. My ipod wouldn't update to 3.1.1 or 3.1.3, but i used the 3.1.2 firmware since my ipod's shsh was saved in sauriks server thing, and it worked!!!
