Ok so heres the deal, i have an iPod Touch 2 Gen 16 GB, so what happened was it froze a little earlier when it was on cydia, so i forced shut it down, when i was using the Voltage booter i followed the instrutions about putting it in dfu mode and boooting, after this it was on the apple logo boot screen, but it wont get pass from there, and the thing is my laptop recognizes it and even itunes started syncing with my itouch even though it didint get to the look screen or even the the normal screen with the apps...so what should I do? ..oh and after a while it just shut downs again....so yeah..

    Any Suggestions?

Ok so basically your boot files became corrupted.
Put it in DFU and restore
There is another method involving command lines (irecovery -f iBSS211 - something like that) but i dont have it memorized

    It was in DFU correct?
    Okay gimme a sec...
    Alright. gimme another one
    Lets try recovery mode.
Plug in your ipod to the computer. Hold power button and home button. The screen will go black, but keep holding, until the apple sign pops up again. Then let go of power and hold home for 10 sec, it will show a connect to itunes sign on the scree. Try restoring then.
