It doesn't need to be in DFU. Restore in iTunes, then (with iTunes open) run Blackrain.

Have you tried switching computers/USB ports?

Nope... I think the jailbreak might break my ipod. Shall I restore it to original and then restart the ipod then change ports and jailbreak?

All this happened when I tried going into cydia and installing a source then the pod restarted after it. After that I switched the pod off and next morning this happened.

Hmmm... Go ahead and try your idea. I've had my iPod refuse to restore (or jailbreak) and then I switched the prt. Worked great.

Also, if your afraid it might break your iPod (it cant) then don't jailbreak it.

Have you deleted and redownloaded Blackra1n?

Also, is iTunes running when you jailbreak? And what does Balckra1n say whenever the screen goes black?

Not yet. iTunes is closed. Blackra1n says nothing when it goes black. I posted the logs above. Help. >>.>

Oh, ok. Try this. Whenever you get the black screen, hit make it ra1n again. See if that works.
