I recently got a 8GB iPod touch, and on the weekend bought a FM transmitter meant to be compatible with all iPods and iPhone to play my music through the car radio. However, when plugged in (to the dock, not headphone jack), the iPod just plays music in the same way as it does without headphones in, just coming out of the iPod and not out of the car stereo. Any ideas on how I can get it to work through the stereo?

    Thanks

Your iPod probably doesn't recognize the FM transmitter. What's the model?

i had this problem with my dock, make sure a case or anything else is blocking the transmitter to be completely plugged into the ipod
