After jailbreaking to 3.0, my ipod touch 2nd gen will not turn on. :S need major help please guys. I have tried the both button reset, and forcing it into recovery mode to no avail. (Yes it is charged) the computer picks it up temporarily as unrecognised device

DFU mode and restore it from there. That works on pretty much every occasion.

EDIT: ^, he beat me to it

    1. Hold down both buttons for 6-7 seconds.
    2. WITHOUT TURNING ON, enter DFU like you normally would.
    3. Run redsn0w normally, doing everythign as you normally would.
    4. Let it do it's thing.
I had that same problem. I had to jailbreak it using 0.6 to get it to work due to Vista, but this should allow it to boot up.

    Hope this helps!
