    Hi,

I haven't been using my iPod touch for a while (2G), but yesterday I decided to give it another try and installed iOS 4.1 on it and jailbroke it as well.

Now however the internet does not work. I connect to my home WiFi network (WPA2 secured, tried using the open network as well, didn't work either) and I connect successfully, but I cannot browse web (or use any of the apps that require internet connectivity).

That pointed me to DNS problems. However, even when I put openDNS in the "DNS" field of the network (or Google's Public DNS for that matter), the problem persists and it won't load.

If I type the IP address of the website, it loads properly.

Tried rebooting the router, the ipod itself - nothing helped.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

Oh, and there's no MAC filtering turned on.

    Nope.

I should also mention that I have successfully connected with my Android phone and my laptop.

Ok try going to you iPod, goto the Settings, then -> Wi-Fi ; you see your network then the blue arrow right? tap that, at the top it should say "forget this network" hit that, then try reconnecting to it again.
