    Happy Birthday

I am an OLD Newbie! and my experience with wi-fi is 1 week old. -- I added a router with wi-fi to my wired LAN.

1: Have you looked at your Preferences Screen and what it is sayig re wi-fi activity?

2: Have you -- assuming you have wi-fi in your house .. "opened" the padlock (you will need to to know the password . (I was at a friend's with wi-fi -- but as he had not used his Laptop for 3 weeks he had forgotten how to unlock and hence send the i-juice thru to the iTouch.

4: Have you gone to say Amazon (or any other wi-fi HOTSPOT) and tried, if it works there, you may have a local prob. (I dropped my daughter off at her apt and I could see about 8 wi-fi ID's. Two were not locked. I surffed them for 1 minute trials!

Otherwise --my Pod with Linksys G Router work just fine.
