So, today, while I was updating to 2.2.1 on my iPod, I think it came loose from the USB connector. The screen started flickering white every now and then.

    Sometimes it goes all white...
The touch functions still work, I just can't see what I'm doing when it happens.

I don't see how this could be a software failure. Because when it goes white, I can put pressure on the back and the screen comes back sometimes. So I naturally thought it was a connector ribbon being loose on the inside.

    Firmware is 2.2
    I tried downgrading to 2.1
    Tried upgrading to 2.2.1
    Tried restoring to 2.2

..Funny thing is, while it's restoring, the screen is perfect, it never goes white until it goes back to the Home Screen after a restore.

I really don't want to have to replace it (AGAIN).
This will be the third time, and my parents are tired of me of "messing up my iPod because it's jailbroken"

Plus, Apple's service is terrible, so, yeah.

    Any ideas?
