I have a couple of questions...

First, i have converted to .mp4 to put movies on an ipod before, i assume this holds true with the touch?

Second, what size should i use when i encode the movie i have on my desktop?

Lastly, once i have done both of those, is it possible to add a video via ssh to be played on the ipod? This is because i have 10.3.9 OS and cannot connect the touch to my computer.

    Thanks,
    TC

Yes, you need to re-encode with h.264 for a video to work on the iPod. This ends up with a .mp4 file.

For a full length movie 500-600mb should be good.

No, you can't sync them from SSH.
