Have there been any reports as to aside from the new software with 1.1.3, have there been any improved performance of the unit such as slightly longer battery life than older models, faster response time, and maybe the retaining of the blue tint on the original Week 37-39 iPods?

i just restored and updated my ipod touch. Nothing is new, the only thing new is the about, it says 1.1.3 instead of 1.1.2. I`m guessing you have to pay the $20 to get the updates.

Well scrolling between different screens is smoother than summerboard.
Also what is really amazing is that software restore doesn't really erase anything!!!
After updating to the new software I had all my notes just like when it was jailbroken!!!
