When i try to restore my jailbroken ipod touch it shuts off during restore, i used an untethered jail break program a while ago , and my ipod shuts off and everytime i attempt to restore it, it just turns off. The itunes error i recive is (9).I've tried everything, from diffrent booters and programs and i know how to put it in dfu mode and how to shift+click to restore none of these work its when i have to restore it works for about 10 to 15 seconds and then it shuts off. Thank you for the future help. sorry for the wall of text..

    Have you restarted your computer?

    Uninstalled and then reinstalled iTunes?

this... is odd dfu+ restore should always work. make sure you are restoring to the original firmware and not the jailbroken one. and also, what does error 9 say?

"The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9).

Well, if you get error 9, it's not even close to bricked, since it turns on.
