i heard you can get something called notifier or something called that but i use a app called mBox from the app store. Is it possible to link that app to the notifer at the top so it shows how many mails i have got.

The reason for this is when i delete my mail form this app it removes it form my account. But weni delete my mail form the built in mail app it doesnt remove it form my account.

Not only is it called the status bar, but you can change the carrier (the thing that says iPod) and banner (the time) with an application called MakeItMine from Cydia. With SBSettings or BossPrefs, you can select a numerical battery preference. The status bar background (grey or black), the Wi-Fi logos, and the battery can all be changed with images in WinterBoard themes. You can find all of this on Cydia.

    It's called the status bar.
You download stuff to it if you are jailbroken from Cydia, stuff like weather, etc.

    EDIT: Wow, double Ninja'd

Yea, sadly. There should be an app that makes mail automatically check every 10 minutes.
