What's the best free PC application that can let me transfer my songs on my iPod Touch (1st Gen) to my new PC? Everything I google is either not for the iPod Touch/iPhone, or they have a 100 song limit.

There's an application which copies everything on your ipod. I forgot what it's called though

Don't post unless you actually have some relevant information.

@ OP: I used the trial version of Touch Copy. It limited me to 100 songs, but I could use it over and over until the whole library was transferred. It beats paying or spending many more hours of searching.

Music Rescue, the reference thingy says it supports iPod Touches/iPhones 1st generation...

I've used it before on my old iPod and although it has annoying pop-ups here and there, you can copy through however much data you want for free.

    NO NO NO NO NO!

I've had really bad experiences with TouchCopy. I bought it, and it only copied like 10 files, then whizzed through the last few hundred files. By that time I thought it was done. But it just skipped over all those files. I couldn't get it to work. And by that time I had already formatted my PC and it deleted EVERYTHING off of my iPod and I had to rip every single CD (with an exception of 10 songs) but that doesn't matter, does it?

I used Music Rescue when my Library was cleared. It was so easy to use and it worked excellently.
