Hey, I just bought an iPod touch, obviously the 2nd gen one, and it seems to work fine, except for a slight problem with the time. It isn't really affecting anything, it is just really annoying.

See, I live in Perth, Australia, and I set my time zone to that, and it set the time. The only problem was it set the time 1 hour back from the actual time. We in WA aren't observing any DST, so it isn't that.
Anyway, I set the time forward an hour in the settings, but if I turn the iPod off, I let it sleep for about an hour, or i sync it, it sets the clock back an hour again! Like right now it is 9:23 here, but my iPod says it is 8:23...

Is there any form of solution, or does the iPod just not like west aussies? Lol.

    Thx, Sut.

    Hello Sut.

So... are you trying to say you have your set to where you live, but your in a different location than where that timezone is set to?
