Hi i was using my ipod touch with no problems for a few days, and i also jailbreaked it, but then i decided to restore it back,

now the weird thing is, after it was restored to the latest firmware, i noticed ONE thing missing on the Genreal menu, the NETWORK has just disappeared, so if you go to SETTINGS > GENREAL then you should see NETWORK?.

i need this so i can connect to VPN, and im just wondering where it went?

did jailbreaking the ipod messed it up?
    shall i call apple?

    thanks for you help

As far as I know, those settings, while stock on the iPhone, come when you add in the iPhone apps after JailBreak.

I think that means you would need to re-jailbreak, then install the iPhone apps(such as mail, weather, maps, notes, stocks...). There is a forum dedicated to installing these if you need help at that point.

what SkylarEC said is true. the NETWORK option doesnt become availible until after you install the iphone apps on your ipod. because VPN is an iphone option, and not a ipod option.
