Hey, what's up guys. I just recently bought an iPod touch and just went ahead and plugged it into my monster cassete adapter I'm my car. Now I get a good amount of background, white noise, feedback if my volume is below half. It fades to a humm when I put it at full volume. Is there a Fix to this or is my iPod defective

    Thanks!

Try adjusting the volume on the iPod. I forget which direction i saw this. Either the ipods volume is too high or too low. Should help tremendously.

Try to get the volume on your iPod where it produces the best sound with minimal hissing. Keep it there and adjust the volume to your tastes using the car's or stereo's controls. I keep my iPod's volume around half with my cassette adapter.

You don't have to worry unless this happens with headphones.

You just need to find an optimal volume level for your iPod and leave your iPod on that volume. Then you simply use the stereo to adjust volume.

It probably depends on what you're listening to. A lot of albums are recorded at different volumes. Try turning soundcheck on in the options. Supposed to
Make songs play at all the same volume.
