I didn't see this already posted so if you're interested with this little free program for SYMBIAN phone (similar to WiFiRouter program for Windows Mobile phones) you can transform your (Nokia mostly) mobile 3G phone in a mobile WiFi hotspot that works really GREAT with the iPod Touch.

    http://www.joiku.com/?action=news&n=1

The program is still in beta but as far as I tried (Nokia N82) it works really great.
And wanting to keep separate my cell phone from an ipotetical iPhone, this is a really cool 'combo' for me.
Too bad it doesn't support mail ports and secure WiFi (or MAC filtering) by now, but it seems planned....if you're interested be sure to send your feedback to the creators!!!

    Hope it helps!

I went to that site, no where does it mention the word 'ipod'

These forum rooms are for the Ipod Touch

Unless you have proof that you can get this to work on an ipod, then ill retract what i said.

    But this looks odd.

Maybe my English (not my primary language) is not that good but...did you read my message?

It works, I'm writing this message from my iPod Touch connected via WiFi to my Nokia cell phone acting as a 3G router (thanks to the joikuspot.com program).
BTW the help file of the program has a specific chapter about connecting the iPod Touch.

Before I jailbreaked my ipod touch, this worked fine, but after upgrading to 1.1.4, it fails to connect. If it does, it's only for like 1 minute befre it cuts off.

I installed it on a Nokia N95. Does anyone have a fix for this?
