Is it just me, or is the startup time for iPod Touch, Jailbreaked, or NOT Jailbreaked, is considerably long? Can you guys please make sure your iPod Touch is turned off, then press the button to turn it on and count how many seconds the apple logo appears for then disappears?

21 seconds from pressing the button to springboard. I timed it with windows clock.

My 16gig touch takes that long too, what gives? There's no hard drive to slow the boot process down. Booting from RAM/ROM should take like 2 seconds at most????

Ever since I first turned it on on Christmas day, it took pretty long. Whatever though, it's worth the wait

i think the more you put on the slower it runs (i mean apps) not music and videos like most things if you install loads of programs your pc/mac will slow down very slightly

You guys do realize it's like loading a full unix-based OS, right? This is why we just put it to sleep rather than turning it off all the time...
