i have noticed the mic adaptor but would it be possible if one had a sim card slot and a microsphone?
so it would now be a fully functional cellphone with the iPhone software installed.
    is it possible?

it would be easier just to buy an iphone then do all of the wiring because it has to go into the ipod touch

So you think a sim card reader makes up the thickness of the iphone? You are still missing core components of a cell phone. Eg. Antenna, chips.. etc.

You must be joking. If you want a device with iPhone apps and a simcard, GET AN IPHONE. I'm sorry, but pay attention.

the antenna would be IN the adaptor.
some of use are stuck with a ipod touch and cant get an iPhone for various reasons
and with this you would get 16gb iphone LOL
but it could be possible, why use VoIP when you can use this?
just take the sim card from your old cellphone and put it in the adaptor, and VOILA!!!
