I do understand that with the Apple iPhone, that there is a white sensor disc located inside the headphone jack, that changes from white to pink when the iPhone comes into contact with water.

However, i wish to find out if it's the same for the iPod Touch. Is the sensor white in colour as well, and what colour does it change to when it comes into contact with water? (For those who have had water damage to their iPod Touch and have seen the change in colour)

are we that stupid enough to try this ourselves? try dipping your ipod in water and see what happens. no one will be daring enough to do it. but the people with the answer will be people who have had water damage

I didn't ask people to drop their ipods in water. It's really for those who had water damage.
