Ipod touch screen very very dark!!! Please Help

    ok so today when i was playing my ipod touch is froze up so i forced restarted it and when it turn back on, the screen went very dark and when i tried opening an application it froze and went to the slide screen. when i got home i restored it to 1.1.4 and everything was normal but the screen is still very dark, i checked the brightness setting and its up all the way and its still dark!!!

    this used to happen to me. i would just turn my ipod off and then back on, then the brightness would be normal.

    i tried turning off and on and its still dark. and if i posted a picture you wouldnt really see anything cause its to dark.

    yes this happened to me too, just reboot it by holding down the home button and power button together for like 6 seconds then turn it back on, and it should be back to normal, dont worry

    try, downgrading/upgrading to a different firmware, maybe that will do something, if not, restore to normal firmware, then take it to apple to get a new one, or they will fix it.

    dont do this!, sorry flavorflave, but i had this problem and all you have to do is reboot it, dont rejailbreak

    i tried holding both buttons and its still the same. ill try using a different firmware. but if it doesnt work do you think apple will take it back cause i had my touch since like september 2007

    hold it for 6 seconds, count to 6, then when it looks completely dark, turn it back on again by pressing the power button

    yup i tried that still dark
