Well, I bought a case for my new iPod Touch 2G and I kept it in my coat/fleece pocket for a mjority of the day and I take it out to see that the scrren protector is WARPED!!! DUN DUN DUN!!! You know, like a DVD that is warped after it is kept in a DVD player too long. It's weird and the warp is in a line following the direction I put my scrren protector on. It's really annoying because whenever light is on it you see those warped rainbow stripes! Well, any help is useful and just to tell you, I have a screen protector b/c I know iPod has a scrath resistant screen but my last ipod touch got a bad scratch so PARANOIA lol.

If you are somewhat intellagence you would not need one. The screen is made of thick glass making it very hard to break

Yeah, the touch screen is very scratch resistant...
Seriously, I've had mine almost a year now and not a scratch.

Ohhh... I remember there was a huge debate about how resistant the screen was.
Just letting you know, a small piece of speck - dirt- sand can scratch that sucker up.
