I was using some any application, an application that makes ants crawl on your screen. As I was surfing the web, my iPod went haywire. The screen started flashing white. When that happened, I immediately went to my computer to restore it. After it was restored the screen appeared to be red.
Is there any way I could possibly fix this?

I made a video on my problem:
    Here is the link

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CO2fnnoXImo

    Additional notes:
    It's an iPod First Generation
    8 GB
Normally 1.1.5 Firmware, although I changed it to 1.1.4

    Please help me,
    thanks in advance

Um, my ipod is normally 1.1.5 generation, but I changed it to 1.1.4
May you give me a link to that firmware so I could give it a shot?

he can't give you a link to the firmware, it would be illegal. Remember, Google is your friend

No, he was asking for 2.2.1, the most current firmware, and 1st gen users have to pay for the 2.0 upgrade, so yes, it would be illegal
