Hi last night I turned my Ipod Touch completly off and went to bed, and when I woke up this morning turned it on. Now once it started up I can use the first few icons, I have my stuff sorted into categories, once I open one of these categories though the touch screen doesnt work. I can't scroll down my apps and I can't open any of them either does anyone know the solution to this problem I'm really hoping it's not restore as I don't want to do all that installing again.

    Help is appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Kasek

I would try to reboot it by holding the home and power button until it turns off...then see what happens, no guarantee but that works for somethings

well i got an actual dead strip on my screen, i had to send it back. Apple bought the screens cheaply from some fags who didnt make em properly so after 3 months they die.

I used just the power button and turned it off unplugged it from the computer and let it sit for a couple minutes then turned it back on. It seemed to work I don't know why that happens but second time since I got it on Saturday.

    Thanks for the quick replies!

I tried using that to backup my files before and I couldn't get it to work. It's weired though becasue if I completly shut off the ipod and leave it for a while thats when I can't press anything but then it just happens to work after turning it off a coupe of times it P's me off lol

I'll try ibackup again though thanks.
