I've noticed just now that when I apply a little pressure to the bottom right corner of the ipod's screen, I can feel it go in a little bit. Also it makes a small noise, but is barely audible. Is this natural? Should I return my ipod? Ive only had it for 1 week.

    edit

I need to know how serious this problem is and if a lot of other ipod touchs have this problem. Returning would be no problem, but it is a hassle, plus got to sync everything back in. So if I dont return it, what are some consequences?

its a common defect with the 2g, which i assume you have.

I have had the same issue with my 2g since the day I got it. I never notice it anymore, because if you don't press there you don't think about it. You don't need to return it, because it is very minor and does not affect anything.

    I'd return it.

It's still under warranty and when you pay $229+ for something, it shouldn't be any less than perfect.

    Exactly.

    It'll only get worse.

Return it while you can unless you wanna be a lazy American

How would you know it would get worse if you don't even have the problem? Mine was like that when I bought it and it is still the same. It's perfectly fine because it is in an area of the screen you don't use. It's up to him to return it or not but you don't/haven't had the problem.
