Well as many of you know, I have a broken iPod Touch in my house that I want to get fixed. Well today I am going to try and do that.
It is the same model as mine. It was dropped outside and the entire glass panel is shattered. I bought it from wal-mart about 3 months ago, so I don't think I can take it to store anymore. I was wondering is there a way to take it and get it fixed or replaced for free? If so do I go to apple or walmart for help?
I bought a 2 year warranty on the iPod for walmart and Apple still covers for first year, but I know apple usually doesn't fix broken screens. Any help?

if you go to the apple store then they will just tell you to call Apple Care (thats what they told me)
IDK about free tho because they people at the apple store told me around like $85 to $100 to repair a cracked screen
If you want t DIY try buying a screen from ifixyouri and doing the rest your self.

Wal-mart told my aunt the last time we took an iPod Touch back that they only cover after Apple's 1 year warranty is gone. Plus it says that it doesn't cover accidental damages in the warranty. Which kinda pissed me off, since the person at wal-mart when I bought it said to buy it in case I drop it. Since we bought 4 iPod Touch's I didn't really want to sit and talk about it.

Wal-mart's stupid.I'd probably just buy replacement parts and repair it manually using a really good and trusted tutorial.Cheaper and better than paying 85 for a stupid LCD screen :|.
