My iPod is over 1 year old and out of warranty, and recently I noticed a White line under the screen which started top middle and spread down to bottom left. It was not too big a problem but then grey lines a pixel wide started to spread above and below this line (like bleeding) and get bigger all the time so there is now a diagonal grey streak across my screen. Is there any fix for this, is it worth sending off for some screen fix or should I just sell on eBay as spare parts and buy a new one?

Try the Knox pixel fix here:

This iPhone app is intended to aid you in correcting stuck pixels in your iPhone screen. It uses a javascript to rotate colors by actual hex# at a high frequency to excite pixels and hopefully release their stuck state.

I personally tried it on my iPhone 3G and it didn't work

, but go ahead and try it. If it doesn't work, I think that a restore might come in handy.
