Ok so my ipod touch randomly shut down when i shut down my computer once, and when i tried to power it back on, it would only show the apple logo then shut down again.

Therefore, I did a hard reset in order to try the recovery mode. Everything went accordingly, but after it finished, it keeps rebooting (it goes to the home screen, then reboots after 5 seconds). It's stuck in a loop when it's plugged into the computer but does not do that when it is not. Therefore, I am unable to do anything to it.

I have tried recovering it many, many times to get the same result.

    Any help/suggestions?

Btw, this happened after I plugged it into a USB hub. Perhaps this could be the source of the problem..?

I don't see the USB hub being the problem, unless it over powered the device, have u tried restoring in dfu mode?

    1. Try restoring in DFU mode (look in my signature if you don't know how to put it in DFU).
    2. Try restore mode, turn it off and hold home while plugging it in.
    3. Try a shift-restore and locate your firmware.

Restore problems can be caused by Firewall and Anti virus programs on your computer. Make sure you shut them dowm before restoring your Ipod.
