    so heres the deal....

i was syncin music to my ipod the other day. and i had to leave so i unplugged it forgetting that none of the songs would actually be on there cause it didnt finish. since then its been crashing and what not. so i tried to plug it back into my computer again the other day and a little yellow window with a (!) comes up saying this device is not recognized.

now ive been searching through the fourms and i have tried to reinstall itunes, ive tried to go to another computer i have even tried DFU mode.

Im not sure with dfu mode cause i have it timed perfectly and it still doesnt get recognized by itunes nor my windows Xp pro OS.

i sure as hell cant afford to buy another iPod!

    Please helpp!!!!!!

You should have cancelled the sync instead of unplugging it.

You could try different USB hubs or a different computer. Make sure you are doing DFU correctly, there are even some programs that will put your iPod in DFU for you.

Make sure it's plugged into a USB 2.0 hub. Try unplugging and replugging to see if anything happens.
