I'm just wondering if this is normal or i just bought myself a defective ipod touch. I bought my ipod touch 16gb last saturday. After i went home i upgraded my firmware 3.0 OS and jailbreak it. Then one time while i was listening to some of my music. I tried on tapping on the pause icon, then it was not responding.

I even tried pressing the skip button but to no avail, it was not responding. It didn't really froze up. Only about 5-6 secs. I encountered this when my ipod touch was low on battery. Is this normal? I don't know if this happens when my battery is still green

I also tried re-jailbreaking it. Well no luck. Just want to know your experience on some problems on your ipod touch. Because this is my first time buying one.

    Thanks..

Have you made sure you have enough RAM available and not too many background processes? Use Memtool, SBSettings or an App Store alternative to free up RAM.

Sometimes you just need a hard reset.

Hold home & power until the screen goes black and restarts (ignore slide to power off)
After it turns back on, you should be good.

    Good Luck,

I've tried downgrading my ipod touch to 2.2.1 still no luck. Now even if the battery is still green it randomly freeze.
