Have you guys noticed when syncing your own pictures and viewing them on your touch, when zooming in to a certain point your photo looks sorta grainy?

thats because stupid apple made itunes resize the original photos for viewing on an ipod. so it makes the photos smaller, therefore making them grainy when you zoom in.

it's not stupid. it's efficient. what's the point of adding a 4mb pic on a 3 inch screen?
that's why it's able to flash all the albums in an instant. otherwise it lags like that samsung player.

it is stupid because its countering the purpose of "finger zooming" , we want to zoom in to details of a HD photo or even use it to view graphic novel pages. It would be better for both worlds if itunes prompts you to wether resize the photo or not when your syncing them

the zooming's more for setting your wallpaper and contact photos.
i would not want to read manga off this thing.
and face the math: bigger files=more battery drain=shorter battery life=more b*tches complaining

yea, when you have a 5 MP camera that has a 2 inch screen on it, and you can zoom in fully on the 2 inch screen to any area of the picture in super high quality, to the point where you can read a license plate on a car a half block down the road when you took the picture, yet when you sync it to your touch, which has a 3.5 inch screen, you can only zoom in a tiny bit until it wont let you anymore, and you can barely see the car to begin with. thats not efficient, thats just stupid. if i take a 5 MP picture, i dont want it to be dumbed down to 0.5 MP just because apple thinks its smart. especially when even the dumbed down pictures come out to be the same filesize as the original picture. i have 222 pictures on my ipod, taking up 140 MB. my camera has 237 pictures on it, taking up 147 MB.
