Whenever i sync photo's,this folder is always created. Im told its like a back up of some sort, but it's really annoying since it takes up so much space, and if i delete it i have to go through the whole optimizing crap all over again. Plus all my pictures on my PC thats on my ipod, is like 400mb, but it shows up on itunes as 1.36gb. Can anyone tell me how i can make it smaller?

Also i have manga on there, so is it possible to make it so that itunes, wont optimize the photos because the letters are really small on the ipod, and it becomes blurry when i zoom in.

No, when iTunes re-sizes and does all that to your photos, it makes the file bigger and sadly no, there is no way to compress the file. Live with it.

The manga doesn't actually matter anymore, sorry about that, lol. But I can't like remove the ipod cache folder on my ipod touch? It takes up to much space. And also why is there a other option on my ipod in itunes taking up almost 7GB? I don't even know what the other is >_>..

JB apps are applications from Cydia.

But since you have a 2nd gen, you can't jailbreak, so it doesn't matter.

Restore sounds like your best bet.
