As the title suggests. Big iPod Problem. been checking, reading and watching fix's these past few days. No success. I've already installed Libusb, once i entered dfu mode, libusb suggests that the ipod is connected with itunes opened of course. itunes would start extracting the necessary files for the update. as soon as it finishes extracting BEEP BEEP (windows sound indicating that a usb device has been disconnected) boom! error 1601. im sooo stucked. please help. thanks!

Maybe you should try shift-click restoring to the stock firmware?

    LOLZ. sh*t-click?

try recovery mode. make sure its off and unplugged. hold the home button and then plug it in and hold it until you see the connect to itunes sign.
