Ipod Touch Not recognized

    Hi, I have just turned on my ipod, It says Ipod disabled connect to itunes. On itunes, it says your ipod has a passcode and can't be used until it has been unlocked. I do have a passcode, but when i try to enter it on my ipod there is know keyboard

    It isn't jailbroken cause i just restored it.

    Same promb but mine says apple device cannot be used

    promblem finally sovled 1. Right click "My Computer"
    2. Left click "Manage"
    3. Double click "Services and Applications"
    4. Double click "Services"
    5. Locate and Double click "Apple Mobile Device"
    6. Change Startup type from "disabled" to "automatic"
    7. Click apply, then OK
    8. Click "Start" the service
    9. Locate and Double click "iPod Service"
    10. Change Startup type from "disabled" to "automatic"
    11. Click apply, then OK
    12. Click "Start" the service

    Try that first.

    If that doesn't work...

    Open MobileFinder (on your ipod)

    Navigate to ~/var/root/Media

    Delete the folder "iTunes_Control"

    Reboot your ipod.

    wheres mobile finder cause my way stopped working.

    Go to installer, Download "Mobile Finder"

    Or you can use SSH (WinSCP)... but that is not as easy for inexperienced users.
