iPod Touch not powering up !!

    Guys my iPod is not turning on I even connected it to the usb charger for 5 hours and more but it didn't turn on then I left it for the night and the next day again I connected it with the charger and after two or three hours it turned back on I downloaded some stuff and spent time on it but after 10-15 minutes it got in the same state and is not working again please help guys.

    Please help and does using transformer application has to do anything with this.

    connect it to the computer, does itunes recongize it?

    and if you think its an app causing this than ssh into it and delete it

    No my macbook pro doesn't even detect it and nothing is being displayed on the iPod's screen.

    try putting it in dfu mode, see if it works and iTunes can read it

    Doesn't work it doesn't power up in anyway and DFU mode is press home button and sleep button something like that cuz I don't haven't used it in ages.

    ?? what man my Mac was turned on and my iPod wasn't being charged.

    maybe you have a bad cable? idk try another one or connect your ipod to a wall charger instead of your mac
