    first off, I have an ipod touch 1st gen 8GB, 2.2.1 firmware, not jailbroken

    I just built a new pc, Running Vista Home 64-bit, Installed itunes and plugged in my ipod, but when I plug it in the battery in the upper right corner blinks with the charging lightning bolt, it doesn't charge, it just dies because the blinking is keeping it on fully, it isn't recognized by itunes or by windows, and windows just makes the new hardware found sound every time the battery blinks, which is like every 3 seconds.

    I have tried plugging it into my old PC and it works fine, My other PC has XP 32-bit, I also plugged it into a friends PC with Vista 64-bit and it worked fine.

    Can somebody please help I would like to use my ipod sometime soon >.<;;

    If DFU doesnt work it could be AppleMobileDevices driver that needs to be reinstalled. Or simply restarted.
