My iPod was stuck at 3%, because I was using an app, and wasn't paying attention to the notices. So I plugged in my iPod to charge it, and it was stuck at 3% even after I let it sit for 10 minutes. So, I rebooted the iPod, and now it's stuck at 7%. The battery isn't even getting warm.

Does iTunes detect it? If not unplug your iPod then plug it back in.

Ok.. now go to the back of your computer. And plug in the cable. Congratz! charging! Lol but seriously, I did that a little bit back and flipped because I jailbroke it within the hour..
Just let it sit. Sometimes the charging takes awhile.

Maybe its charging, but the ipod isnt reading it. Drain the battery till 0, then try recharging til 100

Your battery meter may be off. Drain it all the way to reset.

I had a very similar problem, I had an 2º gen iPo touch and bought a 3º gen... And my charger wouldn't recognize my 3º gen iPod lol
